We wanted you to be the first to know that the Board of our foundation has made the decision this year to cancel the Christina Clarke Genco Memorial Mother’s Day Ride and Spring Benefit.

As you know, our Safe Biking initiative has included grant opportunities for bicycling coalitions, as well as our signature Bike Light Hand-out Programs, providing riders (especially young riders) with lights and batteries free of charge. We’re very excited to leverage our funds to create more of these hand-out programs this year.

In lieu of our regular Newton, MA event, we’ll be hosting a ‘virtual’ ride on Sunday, May 13, in which we’ll encourage riders like you and others all over the country to ride their bicycle wherever they’d like, and send in photos and video to the foundation. More information will be posted in the coming weeks to the site, so stay tuned.

We will be reaching out in an email with details on your registration refund, if you were registered already.
